Supporting the community in 2024-25

The primary way Ludlow Rotary supports the community financially is through our ‘Ludlow Rotary Cares’ programme.  There are full details on this in another section of the website.  However, the organisations we have helped are listed below.

We also raise funds for causes nationally and internationally.   This is likely to be because of a disaster that has occurred and needs funds urgently.  However, this a small percentage compared to what we give locally.

In 2024/25 we distributed over £7,500 locally.  These funds are raised through three events – a Duck Race, Golf Day and Music evening.  The first two were held in May and June 2025.  Please return to the home page to see full details.

Having said the above, Rotary is primarily a service organisation, so we spend a lot of time helping other organisations and groups.  These include helping at the Ludlow Spring Festival and also the Food Festival in September. We also help at the Ludlow Magna Longa Walk and in addition we sponsor young people to attend the Rotary Young Leadership Awards residential leadership training course.
