Ludlow Rotary Cares 2024 is now closed for applications. Thank you to the 27 organisations who applied.
‘Ludlow Rotary Cares’ is a the name the Rotary Club of Ludlow has given to a community scheme aimed at offering modest grants to charities and other organisations supporting community life in and around Ludlow.
Over the last 9 years the Club has been able to invest over £45,000 in 95 local community projects in this way. Last July the Club ran yet another successful Ludlow Rotary Dog Day so we are now in a position to invest yet again in our community. We are therefore inviting local charities and other community organisations to apply for a grant of up to £750, up from £500 last year.
The Club’s approach – The Club intends to be very open minded about the types of activities it will support so long as the project or programme responds to a community need in or within 15 miles of Ludlow and meets its criteria on the giving of grants.
What the Club will need to understand is exactly what the money will be used for, who will benefit from it and how much difference a grant of up to £750 will make. Please follow these links if you would like to know about successful applications in 2021/2 2022 2023.
Presentation – Those shortlisted will be invited to an evening event at Ashford Carbonell Village Hall, SY8 4BZ on 14th May 2024 at which they will be asked to explain in a few minutes their project to a small panel. There will also be an opportunity to meet other applicants as well as members of the Rotary Club. Cheques will be handed out very soon afterwards!
