Already Rotary is heavily involved and here are some of the support being provided. *
Inside Ukraine Rotarians are supporting refugees displaced and on the move westwards. In addition, they are supporting local services for the sick and injured.
Rotary has volunteers at each border 24 hours each day.
Rotary is running a daily train into Ukraine with humanitarian supplies and returning with 600 to 700 refugees.
Telephone Hotlines are open 24/7.
Rotary Germany has a webpage for refugees to find accommodation.
Moldavian Rotarians have taken over a 200 bedroomed hotel at the border for short stay (1 to 2 days) before relocation to accommodation around Moldova, then following up with refugees for day to day support once relocated.
