We are keen to work with schools, colleges, youth groups and individuals. Our flagship activities are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Junior Community Awards which involves a number of local primary schools. JCA is for children in their last year at Primary School and has been<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/ludlowrotaryclub.org.uk\/staging\/6316\/rotary-young-leadership-awards-2017\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rotary Youth Leadership Awards<\/a>.<\/span> The young people who have benefitted from our participation in this event always report back to us enthusiastically. Recruiting our applicant offers a chance to explain and promote Rotary to many local youth organisations, schools and colleges. The 5 night residential course can be life-changing. It is run by a professional team building company and takes place at the Kibblestone International Scout Camp in Staffordshire. The club always looks forward to hearing of the adventures of our candidate after the August course.<\/li>\n<li>Mock Interviews. These are held at Ludlow College to give a number of young people the chance to experience a 20 minute interview by a panel of three adults, all unknown to the interviewees. Before the interviews Rotarians talk to the students about writing their CVs and application letters and preparation for the interview, both in terms of considering their appearance and informing themselves about the job requirements.
