Applying for a Ludlow Rotary Cares Grant.
‘Ludlow Rotary Cares’ is the name the Rotary Club of Ludlow has given to a community scheme aimed at offering modest grants to charities and other organisations supporting community life in and around Ludlow.
Over the past 10 years the Ludlow Rotary Club has been able to invest in excess of £75,000 in over 100 local community projects through this scheme from funds it has raised. After a successful year of fundraising, the Club is delighted to be able to invest again in our community.
The Club’s approach – The Club intends to be very open minded about the types of activities it will support so long as the project or programme responds to a community need in or within 15 miles of Ludlow and meets its criteria on the giving of grants.
The Club will need to understand exactly what the money will be used for, who will benefit from it and how much difference a grant of up to £750 will make. All information contained in applications will only be used within Ludlow Rotary Club and will not be shared with third parties without the prior consent of the applicant. Please follow these links if you would like to know about successful applications in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025
Closing Date – Applications for this year are closed but will open again next March
Presentation – Those shortlisted will be invited to an evening event at which they will be asked to explain in a few minutes their project to a small panel. There will also be an opportunity to meet other applicants as well as members of the Rotary Club.
Follow Up – A condition of the grant is that within 6 months of being awarded the grant the recipient will provide Ludlow Rotary Club with feedback on how the grant has been spent including, where appropriate photographs. In addition, recipients may be invited to give a short talk about their organisation at one of the Clubs twice monthly meetings.
