Ludlow Dog Day distributes £12,000 to charities

Following a hugely successful Ludlow Dog Day in July, on 24th November, Ludlow Rotary Club invited the four main benefiting charities to a lunch time reception held at Stokesay Court, the home of Caroline Magnus, who kindly allows Dog Day to take place in the grounds.

Ludlow Rotary Club President, Fiona Jacklin presented cheques to representatives of Megan Baker House, Severn Hospice, PDSA, and Canine Partners. The total amount presented came to £12,000.

An additional £5,000 was given in November to local organisations as a result of the Ludlow Rotary Cares initiative, which seeks out local organisations, that help the community.

All the funds raised at Dog Day 2016 will be presented to national and local organisations helping the community.
